ABOUT THE COMPANY
My client is a prominent UK specialist passive fire protection contractor located in Essex, offering services to clients nationwide. Their portfolio comprises award-winning products and services, spanning various industries. Boasting over 30 years of experience, my client collaborates closely with essential supply chain partners, ensuring the delivery of highly effective, efficient, safe, and technically compatible solutions.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a full-time hybrid role allowing for office based and remote working. As an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor within Passive Fire Protection, you will be responsible for managing and controlling the commercial aspects of passive fire protection projects, including tendering, cost management and contractual documentation.
You will also work with other members of the team to clarify scope of works, advise on cost control, and account negotiation & finalising. Additionally, you will keep up to date with the latest legal requirements, regulations, and industry developments.

REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in this role
• Experience in passive fire protection industry
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to interpret contracts and analyse costs for each project
• Highly adaptable to new systems and possess superior IT skills including Excel.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision but with high levels of quality and attention to details
