Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Service Manager to oversee the service and maintenance operations of our Bromsgrove-based team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in HVAC, air conditioning, and refrigeration, who thrives in leadership positions and is dedicated to excellence in customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the daily operations of the service and maintenance department, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all tasks.
• Handle the scheduling and execution of both reactive and planned maintenance visits, achieving high levels of client satisfaction.
• Directly manage the department’s budget and financial objectives, with a focus on growth and client retention.
• Lead a team of talented engineers and support staff, fostering a productive work environment and overseeing recruitment and training initiatives.
Candidate Requirements:
• Extensive experience as a skilled engineer in refrigeration and air conditioning is essential.
• Experience in a leadership or supervisory role is advantageous, suitable for a senior engineer looking to step into management.
• Driven and self-motivated with a strategic approach to work.
• In-depth knowledge of service and maintenance protocols for air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Strong organizational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with database management.
• Outstanding decision-making and planning capabilities, adept at managing time and prioritizing tasks under pressure.
• A strong focus on customer service excellence.
