InstaStaff are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator / Assembly Worker to join our prestigious engineering client based in the Heart of Birmingham.
The duties of the Machine Operator / Assembly Worker:
• Working in a busy production environment.
• You will be Assembling parts and Machine operating.
• You will need to have good Attention to detail and have the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• You will be Quality inspecting parts and commencing final visual inspection of parts.
• Operate production equipment and machinery to assemble products according to specifications.
• Using measuring devices and reading production paperwork to complete orders.
• Operating Various machines.
• You will organise and Handle materials and supplies needed for production, including inventory management.
The right Machine Operator / Assembly Worker:
• You must be fully experienced in a Machine Operating / Assembly Operating role.
• You Must have a Minimum of 2 years experience in Factory, Assembling or Machine Operating work.
• You must Be able to Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet quality standard.
• You must be able to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• You will need to have the ability to work under pressure.
• You must have good time keeping due to the nature of the business.
• You must possess good communication skills and have the ability to work effectively in a team.
Hours of work:
• 38 hours a week.
• Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:45.
• Friday 08:00 - 13:00.
This is a temporary to permanent position with the view to go permanent after the probationary period.
Pay for the position is £11.44 per hour
