What you'll be doing
Like the company we're part of, Greencore's IT function is a vibrant and fast-paced place to work. We're embarking on an ambitious and exciting technology transformation programme, which will deliver a wide range of new technologies, and we are growing our team as a result.
With this comes an increasing focus on controls and risk management and that's where you come in.
Reporting directly to the IT Security Director you'll be responsible for managing IT risk, controls, compliance, and audits, working with teams across the company to manage, mitigate and reduce IT risk across the Group.
Specific activities include:
Maintaining and managing a thorough and detailed risk register, proactively engaging with colleagues across IT to identify, assess and review risk
Collaborating with data protection and cyber security colleagues, as well as IT Architects, Delivery and Operations colleagues to build a full picture of IT risk, supporting those colleagues with the management of risk, to plan and execute steps to reduce and mitigate risk
Ensuring alignment with Greencore's Enterprise Risk Management framework, working closely with colleagues within out Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance function
Managing the ongoing definition and assessment of IT controls, working with industry-standard frameworks including NIST and ISO27001
Producing clear and concise risk, control and compliance reporting for management teams
Managing and co-ordinating internal and external audits of our IT policies, processes and practices, ensuring full collaboration with the auditors
Managing risk remediation and audit actions and monitoring the progress of projects that mitigate and reduce IT risk
Getting stuck in to improve processes, practices, and documentation standards where deficiencies are identified
Advising colleagues across IT on how to build risk reduction and compliance into our day-to-day operations
What we're looking for
Hands-on experience identifying, evaluating, and managing IT risk and a proven ability to assess the effectiveness and suitability of controls on critical systems in a dynamic and complex environment
A super personable, highly motivated, and highly capable individual looking for a role in which they can work with autonomy, expand their experience, and exert real influence in a big company.
