What's involved with this role:

Interim Project & Change Manager

Pay rate: £240.96 per day PAYE

Hours per week: 37 Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:00

This opening assignment is for 1-2 months until further notice

A Project & Change Manager is required to lead on the project management of the Household Support Fund for Staffordshire. There are six schemes currently being delivered and the successful candidate will be required to lead and monitor these schemes accordingly.
You will be required to be based within one of the Family Hubs in Staffordshire to lead the team delivering this project.

Key responsibilities:

Lead on the management of the staff delivering the schemes.
Lead on the compliance for the scheme.
Complete the MI return for the DWP.
Report on the progress and ensure accurate data recording.
Monitor the scheme to ensure we are meeting the DWP requirements and spend.
Liaise with professionals to engage them with the scheme and promotion.
Lead on any Freedom of information requests and complaints.

Qualifications:

Full Driving licence.
Business improvement qualification or equivalent level of experience.

Experience & Knowledge:

Experience of managing change projects within a complex environment.
Experience of applying business design and project management principles to deliver change and transformation effectively.
Understanding of the political context of service delivery and its challenges in the public sector.
Experience of creating and maintaining effective and influential networks that work collaboratively to shape and deliver better outcomes.
Intellectually curious and a proven track record of innovation and continuous improvement, bringing in new thinking from outside the organisation.
Experience of transforming services to deliver better outcomes and services.
Experience of supporting culture change and transformation.
Experience of utilising and working with one or more business improvement or change management methodologies (e.g. Prince2, Agile, MSP, Lean Six Sigma etc) demonstrating practical experience with a number of tools and approaches.
Pro-active relationship building with a high level of emotional intelligence. Experience of change management consulting with colleagues at all levels, developing credible and trusted working relationships.
Experience of working in collaboration with partners, driving change activity across a business area or organisation and using your influencing and negotiating skills to achieve agreed outcomes.
Experience of delivering projects in partnership with NHS & Local Authority partners desirable.

Strong proven communication and people management skills – utilising coaching/ mentoring and guidance/ feedback appropriately.
