We are looking for a new business development super star with a technical sales background to join our Advanced Machining team in the UK. The successful candidate will deliver the Advanced Machining team’s sales budget. You will achieve this by identifying new accounts and securing business in our targeted semiconductor, green energy, electric vehicle and medical markets, in line with our company vision.
You will also develop new sales opportunities within our existing aero and IGT industries. This is predominantly a new business development role, but will also manage some new and existing strategic customer accounts. You will; understand Winbro’s technologies and USPs to map against customers’ requirements and deliver revenue winning value propositions, understand our competitors and their key selling features, prepare and deliver commercial quotations, presentations, technical specifications and interface internally to ensure the successful launch of new projects with the engineering and operational teams.
Requirements
We would love to find a proven BDM with both experience of 5 axis conventional and non-conventional machining and closing large deals for component manufacture, however, we will consider candidates who can show they have operated in technical sales in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
We need someone who can show us they are a person who gets a buzz out of finding new customers and potential new applications for technology and enjoys closing a deal. This is not a role for an account manager who ‘can do a bit of new business'.
Please do highlight experience of selling in to the semiconductor, renewables, medical or EV markets on your application.
