Job Title: Senior NICEIC Electrical Engineer / Project Manager

Company: Our client, a small family-run business based in Telford, is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior NICEIC Electrical Engineer / Project Manager to join their team. Specializing in commercial and residential projects across the Midlands, this role offers the opportunity to lead and grow the electrical department within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Role Overview:
As the Senior NICEIC Electrical Engineer / Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical projects from conception to completion. This includes ensuring compliance with NICEIC regulations, conducting inspections, running projects efficiently, pricing projects accurately, and contributing to the growth and success of the electrical department.
This role offers the chance to make a significant impact within a small family-run business with ambitions for expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage electrical projects, from planning through to execution and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with NICEIC regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct inspections and tests in accordance with C&G 2391 Test & Inspection requirements.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
• Oversee project pricing, including estimating costs and preparing quotations.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project success.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the electrical team.
• Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the department.
Requirements:
• NICEIC qualification is essential.
• Previous experience as a secondary NICEIC Qualified Supervisor is highly desirable.
• C&G 2391 Test & Inspection certification.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• Proven ability to run and manage electrical projects effectively.
• Strong project pricing and estimation skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license.
