Cold Store Forklift Operative
Job Title: Forklift Operative
Hours:
• 2pm
• 10pm working a rota of one Saturday in 4
• 08.00 - 16.00
• you will get a day off in the week when you work the Saturday.
Location: Ashford
Salary : 13.73 per hour
If you choose to do overtime on a Saturday, exceeding your contracted hours of 40 hours per week, this would be paid at 1.5x
HRGO Ashford are recruiting for a Forklift operative for a busy client based in Ashford.
Your duties will include but won't be limited to:
• Loading and unloading vehicles with Ride-on Pallet Trucks
• Occasionally unloading containers with loose cases.
• Locating and retrieving pallets into and out of the racking using a Reach Truck.
• Case handling when re-working stock or picking orders.
• Checking in receipted goods.
• Complete picking and loading documents when picking and loading orders for dispatch.
• Using a Counterbalance Truck to unload, move pallets and using the clamp attachment to de-top cases off of pallets.
Qualifications and Experience
• Reach Truck Licence required.
• Ride-On Truck Experience preferred.
• Counterbalance Truck Experience Required.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
