• Processing of all purchase ledger invoices
• Monthly reconciliation and posting of credit card statements
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports
• Perform daily bookkeeping tasks
• Participate in the monthly close process
• Assist with auditing procedures
• Collaborate with the wider finance team to improve financial processes
• Ensure financial records are kept up to date
• Adhere to company policies and regulations
• Support other team members with ad-hoc tasks as required
The Successful Applicant
The successful Finance Assistant should have:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Sound understanding of accounting principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• A proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently
