Site Manager/Supervisor (Civil)

Aqua-Tech Recruitment are currently working with a leading construction and engineering company who pride themselves on delivering high-quality workmanship and maintaining strong relationships with our clients and subcontractors.

They are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Supervisor/Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Project Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
The role will involve working closely with subcontractors, managing site logistics, and coordinating with the project management team.

Key Responsibilities:

 •  Supervise and coordinate construction activities on site, including monitoring progress and quality of work.
 •  Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
 •  Manage subcontractors and ensure they adhere to project schedules and specifications.
 •  Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues or concerns promptly.
 •  Coordinate with the project management team to plan and schedule work activities.
 •  Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and site meetings.
 •  Resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise on site in a professional and timely manner.
 •  Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
 •  Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.

Qualifications and Experience:

 •  Proven experience working in a similar role within the construction industry, preferably in civil engineering projects.
 •  Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
 •  Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
 •  Sound knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials.
 •  Familiarity with health and safety regulations and procedures.
 •  CSCS Card (desired)
 •  CITB/SMSTS (desired)
