Handyman
Mayford Grange Retirement Village, based in Mayford is on the lookout for a Handyman/ Maintenance Assistant. Flexibility in hours from 8 hours a week up to 16 hours a week.
You will help maintain our beautiful retirement village which offers a welcoming and vibrant community where residents can enjoy their golden years to the fullest.
As a Maintenance Assistant/ Handyman you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and satisfaction of our residents. You will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to keep our retirement village in excellent condition.
Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance tasks, groundskeeping, assisting residents making sure their needs are met promptly and courteously as well as conducting regular safety inspections to identify any potential hazards.
We are looking for someone who has previously worked in a Maintenance position and who is a team player as you will be working closely with other staff members to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for residents. If you have strong problem-solving skills and great attention to detail as well as excellent communication skills this will be a great fit.
