Position Overview: As Project Manager, you'll lead the tendering process for major highways infrastructure schemes, providing technical input, developing proposals, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Upon project win, your role transitions to overseeing project delivery, coordinating teams, managing budgets, schedules, and ensuring quality and safety.
Your expertise in highways engineering will be pivotal in optimising methodologies and driving successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
 •  Lead the planning, design, and execution of highway infrastructure projects, encompassing roads, bridges, and related facilities.
 •  Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and resource plans in collaboration with stakeholders.
 •  Supervise the creation of engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and contract documents for projects.
 •  Manage procurement processes, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and material/service procurement.
 •  Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, such as engineers, site managers, and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to technical standards and client requirements.
 •  Monitor project progress, assess risks, and implement mitigation strategies to meet project objectives within schedule and budget constraints.
 •  Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and environmental guidelines in highway construction.
 •  Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to project team members, fostering a positive work environment.
 •  Prepare progress reports, presentations, and project documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:
 •  Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
 •  Highly desirable to hold Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
 •  Demonstrated track record (5+ years) in managing civil engineering projects, with a preferred focus on Highways.
 •  Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and software such as Primavera and Microsoft Project.
 •  Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
 •  Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects concurrently, and adapt to evolving priorities in a dynamic environment.
 •  Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and industry best practices
