Responsibilities:

Collaborate internally and with clients to define, design, and ship new features.
Develop and maintain high-quality web and mobile apps.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Troubleshoot and debug complex applications, sometimes in unfamiliar technologies.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members.
Help to maintain documentation for all development activities.

Requirements:

5+ years’ experience developing web-based software.
3+ years’ experience with Laravel.
SQL proficient and can handle Eloquent efficiently with MSSQL, MySQL and/or PostgreSQL.
Proficiency in front-end frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue3.
Ability to optimise performance and efficiency while managing large datasets and performing compute-intensive actions.
Fundamental understanding of microservice architecture principles.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to tackle complex issues.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to guide and train team members to foster continuous learning and growth.
Proactive attitude towards learning and implementing new technologies and methodologies.

Desirables:

5+ years’ experience in Fintech with relevant skills, such as meeting regulatory requirements, implementing payment platforms, and heightened security.
Experience implementing off-the-shelf or custom business process managers and/or business rule engines.
AWS Certification (e.g. Cloud practitioner, Developer).
Proven experience in teaching, demonstrated through medium posts, blogs, or other platforms.
Demonstrated experience in contributing to a variety of open-source projects.
Good knowledge of web-related infrastructure components such as Nginx, including server setup, configuration, and maintenance.
Experience with multi-tenanted, complex (ideally Laravel) applications.
