Blossoms at Bloxcidge House Day Nursery are looking for a Nursery Cook at our brand new setting in Oldbury on a full time basis.

About Blossoms:

Blossoms at Bloxcidge is a brand New day nursery to the Blossoms group, providing Outstanding Early years care in the Midlands.

We are passionate and committed to our staff’s professional development in order to improve the care and learning experiences for our children.

Job Role & Duties:

The Nursery Cook will be responsible to work with the nursery manager to plan and prepare a nutritious meal plan for the children, following guidelines from Healthy start.
 •  Create meal plans
 •  Ordering of food and stock
 •  Preparation and cooking of Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner & Snacks
 •  Adhere to food hygiene and allergy legislation
 •  Cover staff in the classrooms when required
 •  Complete food safety and kitchen records
 •  Be responsible for kitchen hygiene and complete all risk assessments in the kitchen area.

About you:

 •  Candidates must have a minimum of two years previous experience
 •  Candidates must hold a recognised food hygiene certificate
 •  Candidates must hold a recognised food allergy certificate

Pay & Hours:

Monday to Friday, with a choice of hours. (08:00 – 15:00 or 09:00 – 16:00)

£22,542 Per Annum
