Key Responsibilities:

 •  Engage with children, young adults, and families, providing support and guidance to promote independence.
 •  Collaborate with internal and external partners to arrange activities and sessions tailored to the needs of service users, enabling them to lead independent lives.
 •  Develop and implement innovative programs and interventions to address the diverse needs of service users, ensuring activities are engaging and enjoyable.
 •  Manage activities and sessional support workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that exceed expectations.
 •  Build strong relationships with organizations and partners to enrich the journey of those you support.
 •  Ensure health and safety standards are maintained during activities and sessions, minimizing risks, and ensuring a safe environment for children and young adults.
 •  Manage your own workload effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications:

 •  Experience working with and supporting children, young people, and families aged 5-16 years and 17 and above.
 •  Awareness of health and safety issues and strategies to mitigate risks when working with children and young people.
 •  Qualifications in childcare, youth work, rehabilitation, habitation, social care, or related fields.
 •  Previous experience in child support, enablement officer or a related role in the healthcare or social services sector with not less than 18 months in the United Kingdom.
 •  Valid driving license or access to a car for travel.
 •  Experience in managing activities or developing sessions for children, young people, or families.
 •  Commitment to diversity and equality in the workplace.
