Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with a child with special educational needs, providing tailored support to facilitate their learning and development within the classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one support and guidance to a child with special educational needs, ensuring their individual learning needs are met.
Collaborate effectively with the class teacher and SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to implement personalised learning plans and strategies.
Assist with the creation and adaptation of learning materials and resources to accommodate the child's specific needs and abilities.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes the child's social, emotional, and academic growth.
Monitor and record the child's progress, providing regular feedback to the teaching team and parents/carers.

Support the child with any personal care or mobility requirements, as necessary.Requirements:

Previous experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly in a classroom setting, is highly desirable.
A compassionate and patient approach, with a genuine commitment to supporting the individual needs of each child.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, would be advantageous.
