A South Manchester based Accountancy firm are seeking to recruit an experienced Accounts Senior to join their team. This firm provides a generalist accountancy services to their clients. Their clients are mostly owner managed businesses and sit within a varied range of industries.
This is a friendly and supportive firm and will be the perfect opportunity for an experienced accounts candidate wanting a role in which they can get involved in all aspects of accountancy.
Your new role
As Accounts Senior, you will be responsible for preparation of accounts, VAT returns, bookkeeping, and corporation tax. The majority of the clients you will support will be owner managed businesses within a range of industries. You will communicate directly with clients and will be a key point of contact for any queries that need resolved.
You will use a range of software including Iris, Sage, Quickbooks and Xero.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience handling accounts within a practice and will be AAT qualified or part ACA qualified. You will need strong IT skills with experience in accounts software such as Iris, Sage, Quickbooks and Xero.
If you have strong accounts experience, the ability to manage your own workload and a confident personality, this will be an excellent opportunity.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will be offered a competitive salary between £26,000 and £35,000 dependent on experience.
