Are you an experienced maintenance engineer with a background in food manufacturing, looking for an autonomous and varied role within an industry leading business, whilst maintaining a brilliant work / life balance and where you have clear progression to management?
Are you looking to use your engineering experience in a varied role to work within a team of experts where you will be part of ensuring the smooth running of the company is maintained to an exceptional standard?
On offer is the opportunity to work for a successful, well-established company with, over 50 years experience feeding the nation with arguably the best treat of them all, ice cream! They are an independent yet hugely successful company and are looking to grow their team to keep up with the ever increasing demand.
Your day to day will be a mixture between reactive maintenance and PPM on broad range of machinery throughout the factory. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you'll be using your expertise to play a leading part in troubleshooting, fault finding and providing BRC documentation when necessary.
This role would suit an experienced production engineer with a background in the food industry, looking to take up a pivotal role within a well-established and expanding company.
The Role:
Conducting fault finding diagnosis/repairs on all equipment and plant machinery, both electrical and mechanically
Proactive planning of the site PM schedule, through daily morning meeting visibility, highlighting key service/planning requirements and actions towards delivering them
Providing engineering support to the production teams to ensure maximum line efficiency
Maintaining a PPM system to an extremely high standard ensuring smooth production operations
Monday - Friday (10am-7pm)The Person:
Production/manufacturing experience within the food industry essential
Experience with SOP's & Audits essential
