Job Title: Front of House (FOH) Team Member
Location: North Cornwall
Position Type: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: 3-5 days a week, Hours are typically of the Industry, 10am to 9pm.
Some full days some half days. Our client is flexible and do new rotas every 2 weeks so it’s always changing
Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Front of House (FOH) team member at our client’s stunning beachfront bistro restaurant located in North Cornwall. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant and bustling environment, with ample room for personal and professional growth within our company.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests, ensuring a positive dining experience from arrival to departure.
• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and provide menus.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, conveying any special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen staff.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously, maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or complaints to ensure a positive resolution.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting and clearing tables as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless coordination of service.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a similar FOH role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to every guest.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures, including familiarity with wine and cocktail service, is an asset.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
