The candidate should ideally have a degree or have a minimum qualification at HNC level in Electronics/Engineering with experience in engineering design for system control, wiring harnesses, electronics, and PLC programming. An element of mechanical design is preferable using solid modelling software (Solid works) as this is to be a mixed role where required.
They operate in a very niche area and so training will be given, but experience of working within the vacuum industry would be a great advantage.

They operate in a very relaxed but fast moving, creative, and close-knit environment. They require a person with a creative problem-solving mind, that can work hard and work well under pressure, that can also prioritize and manage a project from design to installation.
A problem solver that can work well on their own but also as part of a team, keep cool under pressure, and keep on smiling.

Our client’s ideal candidate would be experienced in system and controller design combining different aspects of systems and different technologies. They would also have good engineering hand skills, able to assemble, test, fault find, develop, and modify their designs to attain the required operating performance.
They will have new skills, ideas, and knowledge that they can bring in to complement their existing team of engineers and how improve and grow their product range.

They would also need a driving licence and be happy to drive (and fly) to customers all over Europe, and fly out to North America and Asia when required for installations.

Our client’s company was established in 2003 and has grown into a world leader in their niche area of in vacuum sample heating and laboratory furnaces, heating up to 3000C, and exporting over 80% of their products. They are a rapidly growing forward thinking company, with an incredible future ahead.
They work in a very relaxed but professional environment, with every employee knowing where the company is and where they are going. All employees share in bonuses, as their employees are the most important and valued part of their company. They are now looking for another member to join their happy team.
