Head of Engineering required to join a well-established manufacturing company that specialise in Metal Stamping, based in the Wolverhampton area. The successful candidate will be someone that is looking to take on a leadership role within a rapidly growing manufacturing business.
With a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction, the company offers a complete manufacturing process to a diverse customer base.

As the Head of Engineering, you will play a key role in driving the company's growth and innovation agenda. You will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to deliver on new product introductions, drive innovation, and continuously improve production and process engineering for current products.
This will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement engineering strategies, projects, and initiatives that will drive the company forward.

Head of Engineering Position Overview
 •  Leading and managing a team of engineers to ensure the successful delivery of new product introductions, innovation projects, and improvements to production processes
 •  Developing and implementing engineering strategies, projects, and initiatives that align with the company's growth objectives and customer requirements
 •  Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in product quality, cost reduction, and manufacturing efficiency
 •  Providing technical expertise and guidance to support the development of new products and processes
 •  Identifying and implementing new technologies, processes, and equipment to enhance the company's manufacturing capabilities and competitive edge
 •  Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and best practices in engineering and manufacturing

Head of Engineering Position Requirements
 •  A degree in engineering or a related field, with professional qualifications such as chartered engineer status preferred
 •  Demonstrated experience in leading and managing engineering teams to deliver on new product introductions and process improvements
 •  Strong technical knowledge and expertise in Pressings, press tooling, laser cutting and automation
 •  Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and implement innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges
 •  Proven ability to drive continuous improvement in product quality, cost reduction, and manufacturing efficiency
 •  Experience in project management, budgeting, and resource allocation
 •  Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
 •  Automotive industry experience, including overall responsibility for PPAP submission.

Head of Engineering Position Remuneration
 •  Full time - Permanent position
 •  35 hour week
 •  08:30 - 16:30 Monday to Thursday, 08:30
 •  13:30 on Fridays
 •  Salary DOE
 •  33 days holiday including bh
 •  Quarterly Bonus
 •  Pension contributions up to 6%
