We have proudly partnered with a national FM provider with an industry leading reputation to recruit a Time Served and experienced Electrician due to continued growth to support a number of service & maintenance works located throughout the Manchester and the Northwest on a full time permanent basis.
Employed in a field-based position covering the Northwest including Manchester, you will be responsible for:
• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance of a portfolio of commercial properties across the Northwest
• Works can include, but not limited to Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC and Fabric
• Cover a portfolio of contracted buildings repairing and maintaining various systems
• Small project and additional works focused on lighting, power & upgrades
• Carrying out general facilities maintenance including changing belts & filters, AHU maintenance, water temperature checks, emergency lighting etc.
• Participate in the companies on-call rota to provide their customers with full out of hours cover
Essential requirements:
• Served recognised apprenticeship
• Hold formal electrical qualification i.e. 17th/18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
• Highly skilled in all aspects of electrical maintenance & repair works
• Happy to undertake facilities maintenance tasks including AHU’s, emergency lighting, fire alarm testing etc.
• Good problem-solving skills
• Able to demonstrate a strong focus on customer care combined with excellent communication skills
• Full UK Drivers Licence
• Willing to contribute to working overtime
• Willing to travel extensively
• Undergo relevant Disclosure/CRB checks
