Are you an experienced teacher of English language and literature? Maybe you are a newly qualified teacher searching for that first big opportunity. Simply Education have an exciting opportunity for a teacher of English to join a school in Canterbury.

Simply Education are working alongside a school in Canterbury to find a passionate and enthusiastic teacher of English to join their team in September 2024. Successful candidates will be required to work 5 days a week teaching KS3 and 4 English Literature and English Language.

The school is located in the centre of Canterbury, and as part of your contract with them, they will provide excellent training resources, as well as access to specialist well-being and mental health services. The school was recently rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted, and they are looking to push on to improve this to outstanding over the coming years.

We are looking for someone who:
 •  Has recent experience teaching English.
 •  Or is an ECT with a relevant English degree.
 •  Has strong classroom management skills.
 •  Has excellent knowledge of KS3 and KS4 Curriculum.
 •  Can promote cultural development.
 •  Has great communication and lesson delivery skills.
 •  Can prepare lesson plans.
