THE COMPANY
Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking for a new opportunity to work in an Accountancy Practice in the Cannock area? Are you looking for parttime hours? Preferable 12.00pm – 5.00pm?
THE ROLE
You will be working for a Lichfield based accountancy practice as a Bookkeeper getting involved with all bookkeeping duties up to trial balance. You will undertake accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships and audit exempt limited companies within a portfolio of clients.
You will prepare VAT Returns and general accounts work including sales and purchase ledger processing, cashbook and petty cash reconciliation and reconciliation of bank accounts. You will be meet some clients face to face and have a professional and approachable persona.
You will be keen to play an active role in a dynamic team and willing to contribute to the success and development of the team and the firm as a whole. You will work on various systems including Sage, XERO, and QuickBooks, along with MS Excel.
REQUIREMENTS
Ideally you will have 1+ years UK based practice experience and a good knowledge of Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and MS Excel. You will have high standards of written and oral communication and the ability to work on own initiative in a very busy team.
You will possess general accounting skills, be enthusiastic about providing great client service and use to managing your own set of clients, working to strict deadlines. Parttime hours available.

COMPANY BENEFITS

Salary from £23,000 - £28,000, pro rata, Auto Enrolment Pension and free Parking. Other benefits to be discussed at interview stage. Working 12.00pm – 5.00pm some working from home
