Are you a dedicated and passionate individual with a love for education? We are seeking qualified Teaching Assistants to join our team here at ABC!

Working for ABC you will have the flexibility of working on days that suit you best! You will be working across the whole of Primary from Nursery - Year 6.

Job Description:

As a qualified Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting teachers in delivering high-quality education to students in local Primary Schools. You will work closely with classroom teachers to support individual and group learning activities, provide pastoral care, and create a nurturing environment conducive to academic and personal growth.

In this role, you could be working on a range of assignments from day to day roles, short-term and long-term assignaments.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting teachers in planning and preparing engaging learning activities tailored to students' needs and abilities.
Supporting students with their learning, providing one-to-one or small group assistance as directed by the teacher.
Promoting positive behavior management techniques to ensure a safe and respectful classroom environment.
Providing pastoral support to students, including listening, advising, and offering encouragement and support.
Collaborating with colleagues and parents to support students' holistic development and academic progress.
Maintaining accurate records of student progress and contributing to assessment and reporting processes.

Requirements:

Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning, NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning).
Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Understanding of child development and the ability to support students with a range of abilities and needs.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational and emotional well-being.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and take direction from classroom teachers.
Pay

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are QTS status and experience we are able to obtain references for in a Primary School Setting.
