Management Accountant

We are looking for a part time management account to join our Sizewell B Team with a competitive salary of up to £34,951 (pro-rata).

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Commercial Group Head, you will be part of a small team responsible for providing effective financial business planning and reporting services to the Station management team, staff and budget holders. This is an excellent opportunity for an AAT qualified technician to develop their experience and broaden their industry knowledge.

The Role

Your roles and responsibilities will include but are not limited too;
 •  Preparing the monthly finance accounts
 •  Providing variance analysis from budget and forecast, identifying any value adding opportunities for trend analysis and commentary to assist forecasting and budgetary requirement.
 •  Monitoring and completing financial adjustments/journals where necessary
 •  Preparing and issuing monthly finance data for use during the monthly accountability meetings
 •  Producing monthly and year end forecasting for approval by the finance manager,
 •  Assisting with audit preparation work to enable timely completion of financial statements

The Skills

You will need:

 •  AAT Level 3 or Equivalent
 •  A good understanding of business planning
 •  Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with all levels of the organisation
 •  Proven experience of delivering high quality information to tight deadlines
 •  Computer literate with advanced level Microsoft Excel skills
 •  Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous.
