It's an exciting time to join the Screwfix Retail Media team. Building out a new function with immense potential, you'll be a key hire to help us drive growth and innovation within a constantly evolving role.
Working in a high-profile and growing team, alongside a broader range of Kingfisher group colleagues, you'll help us to take our first steps into Retail Media, developing a deep understanding of our platforms, potential monetisation use-cases and the massive potential we have to help businesses across many sectors to achieve their marketing goals with us.

You'll have a background in Retail Media, understanding how to showcase product benefits to vendors and help to prescribe the right onsite and offsite coverage to meet their goals. Your ability to foresee opportunities and ensure clear communication across a wide variety of stakeholders will be crucial, as will your deep understanding of the current retail media landscape in the UK.

Responsibilities:

 •  Deliver vendor recruitment goals, identifying and prospecting them for our network and managing their on-boarding
 •  Proactively identify Retail media opportunities within the business and where possible take these from concept through to delivery
 •  Ensure that stretching financial targets for vendor revenue are met within agreed timescales
 •  Deliver insights to vendors on performance of their investment, ensuring they have both the sense and reality of value
 •  Align with the commercial team to identify key targets and maximise revenue opportunities
 •  Proactivity seek out internal stakeholders to ensure all relevant areas of the business are engaged and opportunities are consistently being brough to vendors, and that retail media gets the required levels of support and consideration
 •  Build close commercial relationships with key vendors, ensuing a deep understanding of their priorities and goals, and how retail media can assist these
 •  Be our internal subject matter expert on retail media, both in terms of internal opportunities and third party media
 •  Closely liaise with our marketing agency to ensure clarity on potential third party developments
 •  Start to build an understanding of wider category and sub category trends to help vendors maximise these
 •  Own the numbers for your vendors with regular reviews for both internal stakeholders and vendors
 •  Stay abreast of other retailers Retail media activity and strategies sharing these with internal stakeholders where relevant
 •  Work closely with the Retail Media analyst to measure and analyse all retail media performance and provide reporting where necessary to both internal and external stakeholders
 •  Work Closely with the Retail Media Lead to develop our Retail Media Strategy both in the short term and longer term

Qualifications:

 •  Responsibility for a large target, with a keen financial eye on the numbers
 •  Solid understanding of the role retail media can play full funnel, and what questions or challenges vendors might have (and how these can be allayed)
 •  Highly proficient in marketing technology and relevant KPI’s,
 •  Experience selling retail media solutions to vendors
 •  Experience in developing media strategies which utilise 1st, 2nd and third party data to drive on-site and off-site personalisation as well as in-store footfall
 •  Agency management experience is a plus
 •  Highly organised, able to juggle the various demands of vendors
