We are actively seeking a skilled Project Manager working within new product development to join our client, a world leader in providing manufacturing systems.

The role will involve you taking charge of initiating, organising, carrying out, and successfully finishing new product development projects within budget, on schedule, and in accordance with specifications.

Leading these initiatives will require overseeing cross-functional teams throughout the entire organisation.

Responsibilities:

Oversee development and interdisciplinary project teams consisting of individuals located in different areas.
Create and manage a comprehensive timetable, product description, cost model, risk assessment, resource allocation, and budget.
Oversee the project's execution, making trade-off decisions, managing risks, solving problems, resolving conflicts, and ensuring resources are available.
Verify that the project complies with all applicable internal and external standards and regulations.
Recognise the needs and control important stakeholders' expectations.
Provide weekly and monthly management updates as well as monthly stage-gate reviews.

Requirements:

Excellent in resolving cross-functional issues through proactive, unwavering, and teamwork with functional leads in engineering, product planning, procurement, manufacturing, marketing, and customer services.
The ability to work with both technical and non-technical members of the team.
You will need to have led four or more projects from inception to completion.
The willpower and determination to put in the necessary effort and identify workable answers. able to offer a fair assessment and guidance that satisfies the requirements of the company.
Technically proficient—able to comprehend product technology and client needs.
Strong motivational leadership has the capacity to inspire a sense of urgency in the team and influence people without having direct authority.
Clearly state the objectives and deliverables of the project.
Lead the project, making sure that the goals are clear and that important stakeholders are communicated with effectively, utilising excellent written and vocal communication abilities.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary up to £85,000 DOE
Huntingdon-based office with four days a week on site is required.
26 days holiday plus bank holidays.
