About the role: strong> p>

We are currently looking for a Lecturer, to teach Electrical Installation at the City of Portsmouth College, at our North Harbour strong> Campus. A Lecturer play the largest part in a student's experience in education. As a Lecturer you help your learners thrive and reach their aspirational careers and dreams!

Key Responsibilities: strong> p>
 •  To teach the college programme to students daily and provide high quality learning opportunities to them li>
 •  To provide flexible assessment opportunities and closely plan, monitor, track and record student retention, achievement, and success li>
 •  To contribute to the development and delivery of high quality, relevant curriculum, and pro-grammes, Curriculum Development responsibilities include actively contributing to the development of new programmes and producing annual schemes of work li>
 •  Plan and deliver effective learning programmes for diverse groups or individuals in a safe and inclusive environment li>
 •  Identify and address Mathematics and English needs of learners and work creatively to over-come individual barriers to learning li>
 •  Ensure compliance with Quality standards set by the College and/ or Awarding Bodies li> ul>

To be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you: strong> p>
 •  Level 3 qualification in a relevant area li>
 •  Experience of teaching / training and assessing students with learning difficulties and disabilities at Entry Level in relation to Independent Living and Work Skills li>
 •  Ability to meet targets within set timescales li>
 •  Ability to work well in teams but also to work independently, with the minimum of supervision li> ul>
