Paint Sprayer
Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday 6am – 4:30pm
PAYE Pay Rate: £17.40 p/h
Umbrella Pay Rate: £20.18 p/h
Igloo has a fantastic opportunity for automotive paint sprayers to work in the Corby area of Northamptonshire. Successful candidates will be working on the behalf of our client who is a leading finished vehicle logistics company with locations across the UK and who specialise in new and used vehicle preparation, logistics and secure storage to the automotive industry.
The Roles:
Within the prepping role you will be working on a range of vehicles. You will be responsible for all vehicle preparation prior to the vehicles going into the paint booth to be painted.
The role will involve, but will not be limited to, the below:
• Painting a range of vehicles using a water-based paint scheme.
• Mixing and colour matching own paints prior to painting the vehicles.
• Successful candidates will be painting panels through to full vehicles.
• Undertaking some final preparation of vehicle prior to paint.
• Vehicles can range from small family cars through to light commercial vehicles.
What kind of person we are looking for?:
• You will have previous experience of working within an automotive bodyshop and be confident of working within a fast-paced environment.
• Be able to demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of vehicle refinishing methods.
• Be reliable and good with time management.
• Hold a full category B driving licence
