Working Pattern: Nights – Sunday to Thursday 20:30 to 04:30, 40-hour productive week ( flexible approach, will be required to attend on occasional days or extra nights as overtime.

Location: TK Airport Solutions Colnbrook facilities, Heathrow Airport

We are seeking to recruit an Asset Inspector to work with our team inspecting Passenger boarding bridges and associated equipment at our busy Heathrow site. We are looking for a candidate who has previous experience in inspecting mechanical equipment, industrial machines/ vehicles.

Works at Heathrow are completed at night due to operational requirements; the pattern is Sunday to Thursday 5 nights repeating weekly. Supplements are paid for night works in addition to salary.

The UK branch is situated on an industrial area close to Heathrow. Our branch is a busy engineering environment, we are responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repairs of Passenger Boarding Bridges across UK and Irish airports.

As an Asset Condition inspector – your role will be to lead a team on site to complete inspections of passenger boarding bridges and their ancillary equipment. The inspections range from visual checks to more intrusive inspections following an inspection.

schedule you will complete mechanical, electrical & functional checks as part of the works. Reporting the condition of each element you will submit the completed report and assist in analysis of the results.

In addition to the duties stated above the selected candidate may be required to undertake additional duties consistent with the position which may be necessary to meet the demands of the organisation.
 •  Previous experience of inspecting completing asset condition
 •  Mechanical/electrical background an advantage UK Driving Licence
 •  5 year traceable work/education history to obtain airside security passes for UK Airports
 •  Positive and proactive attitude
 •  Hold a Full UK Driving Licence
 •  Able to follow instructions
 •  Ability to use hand and power tools
 •  Able to organise your own work show initiative and work well as part of a team.
 •  Experience in Mechanical/Electrical industries
