Tradewind is currently seeking a committed Learning Support Assistant for a lovely secondary school in Altrincham!

Position: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Altrincham
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent
Pay: £85 - £100 per day

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to students at KS3, KS4, and those with special educational needs (SEN). Your responsibilities will include:

 •  Offering personalised one-to-one support to address individual learning needs
 •  Assisting teaching staff in delivering high-quality education and collaborate with teachers to deliver small group instruction
 •  Cultivating a positive and inclusive learning environment
 •  Supporting students' emotional and social development

Requirements:

 •  Child-based work experience, Learning support assistant or teaching assistant experience is desirable
 •  Experience supporting students with SEND
 •  Strong communication and interpersonal skills
 •  Strong UK Curriculum knowledge
 •  Commitment to supporting student development and well-being
 •  Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and Professional references checks
 •  Full CV history with all employment and education included
