Our client is global leading plastics manufacturer based in Oldham is looking to add an experienced Toolmaker to their team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Injection moulding.
The Job
• Prepare and execute maintenance and servicing on all Plastic Moulding Tools
• Machining to a high standard on a range of toolroom machines
• Responsible for the manufacture of full mould tooling
• The assembly and fitting of tooling elements.
• Modifications and refurbishment of existing mould tooling
• Servicing and repairs of mould tooling
• Manufacture of jigs & fixtures to support the mould shop.
• Inspection of own work to a high standard
• Accountable for quality of work produced.
The person:
• For this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a toolmaker or similar.
• Ideally worked within an Injection or Blow moulding production environment.
• Must be apprentice trained
The hours of work are 7.30am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday
