GSL Education London is currently looking for a 1 on 1 Outreach Tutor for one of its client schools located in Barnet. This is an OFSTED rated ‘Good’ school with a provision for SEN/SEMH students. The school seeks someone who would be capable of tutoring 1-3 students per day on a 1-1 basis.
The ideal person would be teaching English and Maths to students with ASD. The Outreach Tutor should be teaching students at a Primary level.
The Outreach Tutor would:
Have knowledge in English and Maths
Work with pupils who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties
Build strong and reliable relationship with them in order to attain desirable results in imparting knowledge
Be comfortable and confident to provide 1 on 1 support
Make lessons enjoyable as per the learner’s need
Identify challenges and cater the curriculum accordingly
Help pupils develop their communication and life skills
Maintain a positive attitude and make the students feel comfortable during class activities
Mandatory Requirements:
The Right to Work in the UK
An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application through us
Two professional child related references
An updated CV
