We are currently looking to recruit a part time Receptionist to join our small team at Broughton. This is a position that would suit someone who is confident and outgoing, who enjoys interaction with a wide range of people and has a good telephone manner.
The role is Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 15:00.
The Role
The purpose of the role is:
• To provide a high quality, professional reception and administrative service to visitors, colleagues and others. Includes; telephony, visitor and mail processes
• To act as the first point of contact for anyone contacting Reception, portraying a high level of professionalism.
• To co-ordinate meeting room bookings for colleagues from across all sites
• To diligently and methodically follow departmental procedures and record keeping
The Candidate
You will be educated to NVQ level 2 in business administration or with current equivalent experience and be computer literate and experienced in the use of MS Office software.
As this is a front facing role, you will be able to offer us previous experience of dealing with the public as well as good numeracy and literacy skills and the ability to receive record and relay information accurately and confidentially.
You will have a confident personality, and be by nature positive, calm and not phased by a busy environment and you must be of a smart, professional appearance.
You will be able to organise your own workload and use your initiative to effectively switch between a range of activities, so good organisational skills will be essential.
You will also need to be able to move freely around buildings, distributing resources, collating statistics and servicing business points.
North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust provides 24 hour, 365 days a year accident and emergency services to those in need of emergency medical treatment and transport.
Our highly skilled staff provide life-saving care to patients in the community and take people to hospital or a place of care if needed.
We also provide non-emergency patient transport services for those patients who require non-emergency transport to and from hospital and who are unable to travel unaided because of their medical condition or clinical need.
Alongside the other emergency services, we also work to ensure the safety of the public and treatment of patients in the event of a major incident.
We also deliver the NHS 111 service in the North West. NHS 111 replaced NHS Direct in 2013. This service was introduced to make it easier for people to access local NHS healthcare services in England. It provides non-emergency medical help fast, and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
