THE ROLE
As a Teaching Assistant/ Support Worker at this school in Huddersfield, you will offer more than classroom support. You will make connections, develop relationships and help our pupils navigate the path to a better future. This includes:
• Getting the classroom ready for lessons
• Listening to children read
• Helping those who need extra support
• Preparing resources
• Completing records
• Taking the lead on specific activities and sessions
• Providing learning routines at school, in the community and in the family home

THE CANDIDATE
• Experience in a school or similar setting
• IDEALLY experience working with children/ young people with SEN / SEMH needs
• Educated with GCSE Maths and English or equivalent OR willingness to undertake
• Car driver with access to own vehicle OR willingness to learn (support can be provided for this)
