What you will do: strong> strong> p>
• Capture the as-is business, application and data architectures for the function li>
• Define the future state business, application and data architectures for the function in line with the functional strategy and objectives li>
• Define the IM&T roadmap for the function and support the rationalisation of applications within the portfolio li>
• Provide IM&T subject matter expertise to the function and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to share domain knowledge and best practice, driving organisational capability development li>
• Support the development of a single overarching Enterprise Architecture that aligns the business strategy & informs business transformation li>
• Work with the other domain architects & the sector architects to ensure that the functional architecture fits within the overarching BAE Systems enterprise architecture li>
• Support the development of common architecture artefacts, methodologies, toolsets and processes, e.g. capability models, governance process, EA toolsets li> ul>
Your skills and experiences: strong> strong> p>
Essential: p>
• Significant experience of business architecture and supporting business transformation li>
• Significant experience of IS systems design li>
• Solid experience of technical leadership, e.g. Technical Authority li>
• Proven experience in developing strategic systems architecture plans and roadmaps. li>
• Hands-on experience with business requirements gathering/ analysis. li>
• Proven experience in design and development of Information systems. li>
• Proven knowledge and experience of working within architecture frameworks e.g. TOGAF, MODAF, Zachman li>
• IS/ Engineering diploma/ degree li> ul>

The team defines the policies and standards for IM&T that are adopted across BAE Systems and also provides assurance of these in order to meet our contractual and governmental obligations.
