Job Description
You will be responsible for:
• Managing and reviewing credit applications and credit limits.
• Pursuing overdue accounts in a professional manner.
• Reconciling customer accounts and resolving any discrepancies.
• Producing accurate and timely reports on the status of the credit portfolio.
• Assisting with month-end closing procedures.
• Collaborating with the wider accounting and finance team to achieve departmental goals.
• Ensuring compliance with all company policies and industry regulations.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
• A strong educational background in finance, accounting or related field.
• Proven experience in a similar role within the retail industry.
• Excellent numerical and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• The ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
