Protective Care Group | Hartlepool | Full-time | apply.workable.com |
Protective Care Group specialise in providing a level of support that local authorities are often unable to; support that makes a real difference to young people’s quality of life and future prospects.

Like the sound of this? Here’s a little more about us and what we do:

 •  Deliver bespoke and tailor-made support for young people with complex needs, particularly those exhibiting challenging behaviour.
 •  Founded because of a personal connection to what we do.
 •  Caring and supportive culture.
 •  Rapidly growing group with lots of opportunities for progression – no better time to join us if you’re ambitious!
 •  Support is provided in solo residential placements only, giving you the opportunity to focus your efforts on one young person and hopefully see for yourself the difference you are making.

To help us take our ability to make a difference to the next level, we are looking for a forward-thinking and proactive Manager to guide established teams through the Ofsted registration process. Once registered, you will:

 •  Continue to deliver unwavering support your team so we can ensure we consistently exceed regulatory standards set by Ofsted and deliver the most effective person-centred care to our young people.
 •  Play an active part in the recruitment process.
 •  Onboard and induct new team members.
 •  Carry out supervisions, 1-2-1s and appraisals.
 •  Ensure teams are supported, motivated, skilled, knowledgeable, and happy. You could be leading up to 2 teams.
 •  Manage finances and resources with the teams.

Requirements

Our Registered Manager (Ofsted) will have:

 •  At least 2 years’ experience working within a residential childcare setting.
 •  At least 1 years’ experience in a leadership role within a residential childcare setting.
 •  Knowledgeable and experienced in working under relevant legislation and policies, such as Children’s Homes Regulations, Children and Families Act, Social Care Common Inspection Framework, Health and Social Care, Person Centred Planning and Safeguarding.
 •  Ideally Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent.

Benefits

What we can offer our Registered Manager (Ofsted):

 •  Genuine career progression within our leadership team.
 •  Lots of training courses and annual refresher training.
 •  Regular appraisals, supervisions, and access to our free counselling services.
 •  A generous salary.
 •  Paid holiday.
 •  Company pension scheme.
 •  Monday – Friday regular office hours, but there might be occasions when you’ll need to cover for other staff, so flexibility is key.

Our recruitment process will be supportive, informative, thorough, and hopefully enjoyable! If selected, you’ll have a first stage telephone interview, a second stage interview over Microsoft Teams then if successful at that point a final stage interview.
