Monday to Friday 38.5 hours per week
Working on Volvo heavy construction equipment such as wheeled loaders, articulated haulers (ADT’s) and hydraulic excavators you’ll be part of our professional, friendly and hard-working team of engineers based within our modern and clean Machine Preparation Centre (MPC).
Responsibilities include carrying out pre-delivery inspections, installation of mechanical and electrical equipment such as hydraulics, lights, reversing cameras, seat belt warning systems and radios. In addition, you’ll be fitting brand new parts to new machinery such as buckets, hitches and grabs and assisting colleagues with technical support.
Your skills/experience
A formal vehicle engineering qualification or apprenticeship is ideal however experience in plant maintenance, Agricultural/HGV mechanics or Light vehicle maintenance is required.
You may be starting out having recently completed some form of vehicle maintenance apprenticeship or you’re an experienced vehicle fitter/technician either way you’ll have the motivation to learn and develop further.
Must hold a full UK driving licence.
