StaffCo Direct are actively recruiting for a Transport Operations Supervisor to support a busy operation within a well known logistics company based in Elsmere Port, Merseyside,
We are looking for a highly motivated, flexible individual who is able to take on the company’s ethos and assist us in the delivery of our client’s day-to-day operations.
About the role:
5 days per week - 50 hours per week
Shift times rotated: 05:00-15:30, 07:00-17:30, 10:30-20:00
Permenant role or Temp to perm opportunity
Establish, monitor and maintain agreed performance levels for all warehouse and transport activity
Liaise, support and develop effective working relationships with internal and external customers
Coordinating the use of automated and computerised systems where necessary
Strong system control, ensuring adjustments are fully understood and reported
Ensure efficient flow of stock throughout the site
Ensuring efficient and effective delivery and implementation of all aspects of Clients operational requirements
Maintenance and management of WMS
Organising Training activities/scheduling
HACCP awareness
BRC awareness
Effectively controlling goods in and goods out
Quality Control
Unloading and loading of vehicles
Maintain a safe working environment which complies with aspects of the company H&S procedures
Monitor agreed performance levels for all warehouse and transport related activity
Promoting an effective working environment building a diverse, well- balanced team.
Ensure all environmental control measures are in place and are effective
Work closely with the site, customer and supplier stock teams ensuring clarity and consistency in all we do
Strong system control, ensuring adjustments are fully understood and reported
Ensure efficient flow of stock throughout the site
Communicate effectively with all departments on site
Support transport operation when required
Collation of warehouse weekly profit and loss
Attend monthly reviews with customers
Be responsible for maintain all relevant compliance systems
Control the tank wash operation (if applicable)
Remuneration
Salary: £31,500 per annum
