We are delighted to announce a fantastic job opportunity for an experienced small animal veterinary surgeon to join a privately owned, independent practice in the charming town of Melton Mowbray.
Known as the 'Rural Capital of Food,' Melton Mowbray is famous for its world-renowned Pork Pies and is also a hub for Stilton Cheese production. The town boasts a variety of attractions, including Regal Cinema Ltd, Melton Carnegie Museum, and the renowned Glastonbudget.
As a valued member of our client's team, you will join a group of experienced and welcoming Veterinary Surgeons. Their team is characterised by enthusiasm and a wealth of specialist skills and knowledge in various areas of pet health. Supported by a dedicated team of Registered Veterinary Nurses and a committed support staff, who all share a passion for delivering high standards of veterinary care to their patients.
Our client's practice is equipped with modern facilities, featuring an extensive range of diagnostic tools such as digital x-ray, ultrasound, biochemistry, haematology, and multi-parameter monitoring.
If you possess excellent communication skills, work to a high standard, value clinical discretion, and are eager to be part of a forward-thinking, independent practice, we would love to hear from you. A keen interest in surgery is advantageous, and preferably a candidate with a surgical certificate or those keen to undertake one.

The Rota:
