Senior Finance Manager (hybrid)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Finance Manager to join a dynamic team within large multi-site retail operator. This hands-on role offers the chance to partner with Regional Operations Directors, providing financial and commercial support, and identifying opportunities to facilitate growth.

What you'll do:
As a Senior Finance Manager, you will play an integral role in shaping the financial landscape of our organisation. You will be responsible for:
• Business partnering with internal functions including Regional Operations Directors, Site Operations Managers and Labour Productivity teams
• Overseeing & supporting aspects of preparation of timely and accurate management accounts, providing commentary on variances vs. budget, last year & any other comparators
• Data storytelling to explain the 'why' behind the monthly financial results presented in the period end packs
• Ownership of labour costs including analysing costs and productivity metrics
• Responsibility of weekly & monthly KPI reporting
• Developing and managing operational budgets and forecasts at a business and site level, analysing performance deviations, and recommending corrective actions
• Period end reviews with Operations Leadership team, ensuring costs are well controlled and variances understood
• Proactively providing financial insights and recommendations to provide operational efficiencies and cost effectiveness
• Balance sheet reconciliations, identifying any risks and opportunities
• Develop controls & processes to support new and existing initiatives
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Finance Manager position is a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment. You possess advanced Excel skills, with Tableau/Snowflake experience being an added advantage.
Your strong attention to detail coupled with your commercial acumen makes you stand out. You are proactive, self-motivated and have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
