NEW CNC MILLER JOB BASED IN SOUTHAMPTON
A leading manufacturer of a range of equipment for the renewable industry, they are searching for a CNC Miller to join their dynamic team based in Southampton.
As a CNC Miiller you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC milling machines. This workshop-based role requires precision, attention to detail, and a dedication to maintaining quality standards. Additionally you will be overseeing the daily, weekly and monthly maintenance of the machines and reporting any concerns or issues to the machine shop supervisor.
Duties as a CNC Miller in Southampton.
Inspect work according to engineering drawings using various measuring equipment and report any quality defects.
Programming, setting and running CNC machines.
Set up of a HAAS VM3 CNC milling machine.
Comfortable performing routine maintenance on CNC machines.
Requirements as a CNC Miller in Southampton.
GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.
Experience operating CNC machine tools, particularly CNC Milling machines on 3 & 5 axis.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and use measurement equipment for inspection.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and safety consciousness.
