Job Description
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical instruments and systems.
• Design and install new electrical equipment and systems in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide training and guidance to junior technicians.
• Work with suppliers and contractors to acquire high-quality electrical equipment and systems.
• Record all maintenance and repair work for future reference.
• Participate in health and safety audits.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Electrical Instrument Technician should have:
• A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in using electrical diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and team-working skills.
• The ability to work independently and under pressure.
