Job Title: Careers and Work Experience Manager (Career Guidance Qualified)
Salary: £20 per hour
Location: Welwyn Garden City / St Albans
Contract: Interim position - ongoing
Hours: Monday to Friday (37 hours)
COMPANY PROFILE
Our client based in Welwyn Garden City are looking for a proactive, results driven individual to join their team as a Careers and Work Experience Manager.
This role has the potential to go permanent, although this is not guaranteed.
SKILLS REQUIRED
• A recognised qualification in Information, Advice and Guidance at Level 6 (Level 4 minimum)
• Strong IT Skills including Microsoft Office
• Knowledge and experience of the UCAS Apply System
• Leadership and management experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Organised and able to work under pressure
• Administration experience
• DBS check
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and motivate the work experience team
• Be in control of the career education programme
• To ensure the arrangement of an expert, client focussed help with the goal that potential students receive appropriate and timely advice
• To support relevant activities either on an individual, group or drop in basis
• Keep the website and intranet up to date
• Be fully conversant with the range of equality and diversity and safe guarding policies and procedures
• To create systems, policies, and procedures that support student growth
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
• 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
• Smart casual attire
• Training provided
• Opportunity for career progression
• Parking onsite
• Weekly pay
