Role Overview: We're searching for a versatile individual to fill the position of Hybrid Estimator & Quantity Surveyor. This role demands a blend of estimating prowess and quantity surveying acumen, particularly in restoration, conservation, and high-end residential projects.
Estimating Responsibilities:
• Excel in estimating, ranging from small-scale works to £2.5 million projects.
• Skillfully create take-offs and bills of quantities using both traditional and IT formats.
• Actively procure new projects aligned with company strategy.
• Forge and nurture client relationships.
• Analyze project durations and craft professional estimate submission packages.
• Cultivate supplier contacts and maintain relationships.
• Communicate effectively with all teams, both on-site and in-office.
• Adapt pricing methods to suit project requirements.
Quantity Surveying Responsibilities:
• Manage monthly valuation applications and assist with invoicing and contract variations.
• Place subcontractor orders and oversee specialist material procurement.
• Conduct financial performance reviews and produce monthly CVR reports.
• Provide updates and guidance to the accounts team regarding anticipated invoices and cash flow requirements.
Candidate & Requirements Profile:
• Experience & Knowledge: Strong background in construction, with expertise in restoration, conservation, and high-end new build projects.
• Attitude & Work Ethic: Positive, highly driven, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, crucial for team integration and project management success.
