As a Senior Build Engineer, you will be instrumental in streamlining our build and release processes, enabling our development teams to work efficiently and deliver high-quality games on time. Leveraging your expertise in build automation, continuous integration (CI), and deployment pipelines, you will architect and maintain robust build systems that support the complex needs of our game development projects.
With a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance, you will lead initiatives to improve build infrastructure, implement best practices, and empower our teams to achieve their creative visions.

Key Duties Include
 •  Working alongside the Lead Build Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our build and release pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable build processes from development to deployment.
 •  Collaborate with development teams to understand build requirements, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions to optimize build times and resource utilization.
 •  Automate build, testing, and deployment workflows using industry-standard tools and technologies, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Docker.
 •  Establish and enforce best practices for version control, branching strategies, and release management, maintaining consistency and stability across multiple projects and repositories.
 •  Manage build infrastructure, including build servers, version control systems, and artifact repositories, and implement monitoring and alerting to ensure system health and availability.
 •  Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements
 •  Extensive experience as a Build Engineer or similar role in the gaming industry, with a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable build systems for large-scale game projects.
 •  Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
 •  Strong knowledge of build tools and version control systems, including Git, Perforce, and SVN.
 •  Experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines, CI/CD tools, and configuration management (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Ansible).
 •  Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
 •  Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot complex build issues and optimize build performance.
 •  Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and drive initiatives to completion.
 •  Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the game development process, with a desire to contribute to the success of exciting game projects.
