Our forensic service is dedicated to supporting individuals who have had contact with the criminal justice system and require tailored support to reintegrate into the community.

Role Overview: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our dynamic team. As a Support Worker in our forensic service, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality care and housing support to our service users.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living tasks, providing emotional support, facilitating social activities, and promoting independence and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

Offer emotional support and companionship to service users, fostering positive relationships and trust.
Assist with medication management and ensure adherence to prescribed treatment plans.
Facilitate social and recreational activities to promote community engagement and inclusion.
Support service users in accessing education, employment, and vocational training opportunities.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of support provided and any relevant observations or incidents.Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar care or support role is desirable

A compassionate and empathetic approach towards supporting individuals with mental health issues, learning difficulties, and complex needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trusting relationships.
Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
