About Our Client

Michael Page have been appointed to recruit for an permanent Service and Installations Engineer opportunity based in Newton Abbot. We are proud to be partnering with a long standing business who have recently experienced a period of growth.

Job Description
 •  Conducting regular on-site inspections of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
 •  Performing preventive maintenance on the systems to ensure reliability.
 •  Executing timely repairs and replacements of faulty components to minimise downtime.
 •  Implementing effective troubleshooting strategies to resolve operational problems.
 •  Recommending and implementing improvements to enhance system performance.
 •  Collaborating with engineering teams to execute upgrades and modernisation projects.
 •  Being on-call to respond promptly to emergency breakdowns.
 •  Maintaining accurate records of system maintenance activities and repairs and creating detailed reports on the condition and performance of fluid power systems.
 •  Offering technical support and guidance to maintenance teams as needed.

The Successful Applicant
 •  Demonstrated expertise in maintaining, repairing, and installing fluid power systems, including compressed air and hydraulic components.
 •  Proven ability to work efficiently on customer sites and providing effective solutions.
 •  Willingness to travel to customer locations as needed, with flexibility to respond to service calls promptly.
 •  Strong commitment to adhering to RAMS and health and safety requirements, ensuring a secure working environment for both yourself and others.
 •  Effective communication with customers, project managers, and team members to convey technical information and ensure a collaborative working relationship.
